Bio

In just 5 years, Australian R&B artist and songwriter Felicia Alima has made quite a name for herself. The half Indonesian, half Czech beauty grew up in a family accustomed to art and music, (her father being a great influence as an avid guitarist and musician).  Growing-up in Perth, Australia, she immersed herself in the Hip-Hop scene, where there was no doubt where her aspirations would take her. Moving to the USA in 2002, she became a mixtape DJ, which ultimately fostered her ambition to pursue her own projects seriously. In 2006, she took the bold first step in a solo career of absolute guarantee. She released an EP “The Way We Do” which featured a song called “Leavin’ Here Tonight”. That song was picked-up by Perth radio station Nova 93.7, and she became the first unsigned artist with a song on regular commercial rotation. From there, she made two more releases; her debut album, “Know Me” in 2007, and a maxi-single called “Trade” in 2009, which was on the human-trafficking epidemic and features Universal recording artist Chino XL. As a result, she has created a buzz on an international level, winning 7 Madison Area Music Association (MAMA) titles, amongst being nominated in multiple categories throughout the years.

Felicia Alima is promoted and distributed by her own entertainment company, Chantik Soul Entertainment.
