Winner of the “Know Me” Remix Competition

WINNER OF THE “KNOW ME” REMIX COMPETITION

From January to the end of May, we ran a remix competition for my song “Know Me“. We were looking for DJs, producers and remixers, to do their thang on the title track, and submit their best remix of the track!

We received entries from all around the world (Poland, Canada, England, Netherlands, Greece, Italy and Australia), making the entries extremely diverse, and making it extremely hard to decide on just one winner, but after much deliberation on core aspects such as creativity, mass-appeal, and quality, the winner of the “Know Me” Remix Competition hails from right here in the USA…

CJ Fresh from Maryland is the winner of the “Know Me” Remix Competition, with his 6 and a half minute remix submission! CJ Fresh submitted an infectious remix, passing the bar by cutting-up the a cappella, and honing the track to industry standards!

Clifton J. Stoddart aka “CJ Fresh”, is originally from Kingston, Jamaica, but came to the US when he was just 12 years old. He always loved music growing up, but raised in Baltimore, he became fascinated in the art of mixing, by watching DJs spinning on the “wheels of steel”. Fresh dabbled in the art of mixing at local clubs and on radio for 27 years, but only began producing his own tracks about 2 years ago. Being very particular about his production, along with his desire for perfection, has brought him to the table today as the official “Know Me” remix winner!

What it do, what it do? LOL!
I am happy to announce that the “Know Me” album is now available at all Best Buy stores throughout Madison and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and online at www.bestbuy.com!

Now there is no excuse not to copp that CD! I’m very proud of the “Know Me” album, and I feel that it showcases some of my strongest works to date, (working with top industry producers who have produced for the Pussycat Dolls, T.I., Eminem, Jodeci, Angie Stone, Adina Howard and more).

I’m still independent… but I’m distributing my music the best way I can!!! Of course you can copp the album on all digital realms such as iTunes, Digstation, CDBaby, imeem, Snocap etc, but really, if you’re purchasing my music online, the best way is to buy it from me directly at this link. Otherwise, coming to my shows and buying CDs there is also a really great option, (coz then you can get it signed!!!)
